Mahmoud Saffarzadeh

Dr. Saffarzadeh is a professor at Trabiat Modares University in Tehran, Iran, where he has been a faculty member of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering since 1995. He holds a Ph.D. in Transportation and Highway Engineering from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. He has published several research papers and articles on topics related to transportation and engineering, including transit priority lanes in urban networks, logistics village location with capacity planning problems, analysis of air flight mode, and Evaluation and implementation of Complete Street. Writing more than 200 scientific research articles, writing and translating several books, and managing more than twenty research project titles are among his activities. In addition to teaching and researching at the university, he was the vice president of research and technology at the Road, Housing, and Urban Development Research Center in 2015.
