DUA.lab's mission is to:

• promote and develop research projects (fundamental or applied);
• support postgraduate students in the preparation of master's theses (2nd cycle of studies) and doctoral theses (3rd cycle of studies) by framing them in ongoing or proposed research projects;
• publish, in an open source, the results obtained from research activities (scientific and/or applied) carried out by its members through publications listed in the ISI Web of Science, Scopus, Research Gate and ORCID databases, either through organization and participation national and international scientific events;
• develop teamwork actions with other groups and laboratories, whether from CIAUD or other national and foreign research institutions.
