The area of research has carried out studies on residential buildings, considering the evolution of the housing layout, either due to the spatial needs of families or considering the interaction between family members and the housing spaces. The analysis of complex buildings is also another aim of study within the scope of this area of research, regarding issues of internal circulation, emergency exit routes, and users comfort, among other topics.
